IT Cluster IT Cluster

On December 17th Beetroot, a member of Kharkiv IT Cluster, organised an excursion for the winners of Kids2IT game from the Zmiiv Lyceum № 1. The event took place at the Beetroot office. We thank to Hub Idei and their supervisor Olga Pereligyna for the help in organising her students!

Beetroot invited their academy teachers and HR managers to talk about opportunities for children at Ukrainian IT companies. And that’s not all! After the presentation, the children had the opportunity to learn more about Sweden and its collaboration with Ukraine.

Teacher of Informatics: “The excursion was very informative and enjoyable both for children and teachers. We would like as many similar meetings with companies as possible. Thank you, Kharkiv IT Cluster and Beetroot for this opportunity, we were happy to spend this day with you! ”

The students were excited too!  “Everything was just wonderful! Next year, after graduating from 9th grade, I will definitely come to Front-end courses. ”the lyceum student Alexander admitted.

“It was an incredible experience! The students are very smart, sociable and fun. It was nice to talk to them about serious topics –  how our company was created, about our initiatives and plans. And it was really exciting to discuss  about Sweden, its traditions and special features. After meeting with such children, we are sure – the future of our country is bright! ” – Beetroot Recruiter Nelia Olaresco said.

It is important for us that children understand that  to have a decent work and success in their home country is possible! That is why one of most priorities for us is the opinion of the students and continuous improving of quality of education in Ukraine.
