The second Parents2IT webinar is on June 22!
Supported by the USAID Competitive Economy Program in Ukraine, Kharkiv IT Cluster will hold webinars for parents of enrollees to show them that moving to another city for studying is a huge opportunity for personal development and career growth.
When allowing their children to go to another city to study, parents face many inner fears. They face a dilemma either to let a child go to a big urban center with a huge variety of choices but higher competition, or to stay in their hometown. The main barrier for moving to a metropolitan city is stereotypes and fears. Kharkiv IT Cluster with the USAID КЕУ program will help clarify all the contradictions.
Kharkiv has the best educational institutions with different levels of accreditations and which give all the opportunities for a good life. V. N. Karazin Kharkiv National University is on the 491 place out of 500 in the QS World University Rankings 2020, and it always takes the highest positions among other universities. Almost all the parents try to give their children the best education, but it is impossible to do so while staying in the comfort zone.
Anton Polishchuk, Product Director at Promodo, will speak at the webinar. He will tell his story and share his own experience of moving to study in another city.
Anton will tell about:
- the difficulties he faced when moving to another city;
- the opportunities in IT;
