- Even engineers openly speak about “fear everywhere” and concerns that new GPT versions may “eat” their jobs (The SF Standard, 2025).
Despite the worrying signals, it is worth looking at how AI is used in development today — what tasks it takes on and how it changes the work of IT specialists.
