Kharkiv IT Cluster met Deputy Assistant Secretary Michael Lally
IT ClusterOn the 25th of March Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Commerce for Europe and Eurasia Region of International Trade Administration of the US Department of Commerce, Michael Lally visited Kharkiv Region. Upon meeting with the Head of Kharkiv Regional State Administration Ihor Rainin and representatives of business structures of Kharkiv City, the US delegation held a round table with representatives of City Clusters.
Vasyl Soloshchyk, one of the founders of Kharkiv IT Cluster, Head of International Marketing Committee, represented IT-industry of Kharkiv Region and company–members of the organization, as well as outlined the main advantages of cooperation with Kharkiv IT companies. In addition, all the companies – delegates of the meeting, namely AltexSoft, Artjoker, DCT, INSART, ON AIR, Rozdoum, Raccoon Gang, Sloboda Studio, VIDEAL, VERNA, X1 Group, had an opportunity to speak and communicate with Mr. Lally.
Upon formal presentations there took place informal communication, during which Michael Lally said that the meeting was one of the most fruitful meetings. It is information technology, presented by Kharkiv IT Cluster, and aviation technology, presented by Mechatronica Cluster, as well as educational potential of the Region, represented by university consortium that is of great interest to Americans today.
“Our common goal is to develop relations between US and Ukrainian companies – said Michael Lally. – Today, our goals are very simple and clear – to discuss and find out how we can develop contacts, relations between companies in Kharkiv Region and America in the nearest future”.
We believe that this meeting will become a solid foundation for fruitful cooperation of Kharkiv IT Cluster and American colleagues!
