Kharkiv IT Cluster gathered a PR-community
On 12th February, Kharkiv IT Cluster gathered PR-managers, marketers, and specialists of employer brand and communications. They were the representatives of the companies-members of the IT Cluster. An hour and a half flown by while we were discussing issues and complexities of IT-industry’s communications.
We were glad to meet the employees from Beetroot, CodeIT, and JustCoded. NIX, GlobalLogic, SoftServe, SPEZVUZAUTOMATIKA, Telesens, WEB4PRO, X1 Group, and Verna also came to us. Those who wanted to visit our community but could not attend us geographically had the opportunity to watch us online.
How the first arrangement went
In the beginning, Olga Shapoval, the director of the Cluster, talked about the PR-community, its purpose, goals, and plans. Then the participants got acquainted with each other and represented their companies. We discussed what complexities our communications specialists faced the most, and what could be improved or added. We shared our opinions.
We discussed a target audience portrait, perspective locations for IT-business. Each company had its opinion, but there were general views as well. Alyona Belyaeva, PR&Communications manager of Kharkiv IT Cluster, conducted tests and quizzes on communications channels. This way, we found out which social networks and resources our members used the most and which ones they overlooked.
At the end of the appointment, we discussed topics of our community’s following appointments. Those topics were event-marketing as an essential tool of communication, communicators bases, SERM-marketing, and many more. From now, we will gather the representatives of PR and marketing at our regular arrangements once in two months.
