Veterans2Tech: How to Make Veteran Integration into Business Successful?
IT ClusterIn Ukraine today, it is no longer possible to talk about the future of the economy without addressing the integration of veterans. The tech sector is no exception, since integration is also about a company’s readiness to transform and build a culture of trust.
This understanding gave rise to the Veterans2Tech project, implemented by Kharkiv IT Cluster.
What is Veterans2Tech?
It is a support program for veterans entering the tech industry, where business leaders and the HR community also play a key role. Veterans2Tech brings together meetings with veteran IT professionals, career guidance and workshops, training in employment tools, sessions for HRs and managers on veteran adaptation in teams, and a job fair with direct contact between veterans and employers.
This is a path built on five key components, creating a clear entry system into the profession for veterans. At the same time, it is also a learning space for businesses: how to work without bias and turn integration into a competitive advantage.
