DEVCHATA #8: how to keep your balance under the pressure of stressful situations
The project is in full swing (or maybe already burning), clients are knocking on chats, and the team – despite everything – has to work as if everything is OK: for most project managers – this is a typical work situation. How to keep calm and balance, when all the time everything is a little shaky?
On January 19, we are waiting for you at the eighth meeting of DEVCHATA, where they will talk about how to keep your balance under the pressure of stressful situations, set priorities correctly and abstract.
The guest of the meeting will be Yulia Shumeiko, project manager at Beetroot Poltava. Project management, team coordination, setting tasks according to clients’ goals are among her responsibilities. Simply to say, Julia makes sure that the team completes the task on time and efficiently, and the client is satisfied.
Julia has experience working as a PM in retail and an account manager in the Studiya animatsii. In his spare time, she plays sports, plays the guitar and learns German when there is an inspiration.
“There are moments of silence, and there are – when everything is burning. And the latter is much more 🙂 I would say 98 percent. Here you need to learn to find the inner balance, when you do not burn in the fire of circumstances and problems and ignite from them energy. Simply put, but put it into practice … I will share ways that allow me to keep a cool head when it gets hot around,” – says Yulia.
The meeting will be moderated by Katya Zakhovaiko – co-author of the DEVCHATA project, front-end developer at Beetroot, a teacher at Beetroot Academy. These meetings are lively conversations (not dry “broadcasts”), so Katya constantly monitors all comments and questions, because it is really important for the organizers to hear and discuss different opinions 😉
▶ ️Participation is free. Just register here and we will send a link to the meeting.
If you are hearing about the project for the first time, we will remind you that DEVCHATA is a series of online meetings during which developers, managers, designers and girls who hold other positions in various IT companies in Ukraine talk about the IT industry and share professional and personal experience.
The DEVCHATA project was launched to create an open platform for conversation, where you can delve into technical topics, work out fears and doubts, meet colleagues, understand how to grow in the industry without unnecessary stress and stereotypes. 💜
