Entering the European market is a goal for many Ukrainian IT companies. But successful export isn’t driven by ambition alone — it begins with a clear answer to the question: what exactly can we offer that’s better than the competition?
As part of the international ITBridge project, the Kharkiv IT Cluster conducted a focus group with experts from Ukraine’s IT sector. The goal was to identify which technologies and industries currently have the greatest potential in the EU market.
✔️ Identified key technologies where Ukrainian IT businesses hold strong positions
✔️ Assessed competitive advantages
✔️ Defined priority industries
Now we have clear answers to essential questions: where Ukrainian IT is already strong, which technologies need further development, and what EU partners truly value.
We thank the experts who participated in the discussion:
AltexSoft, AutoDoc, Bini Games, CodeTiburon, Comparus, DataArt, Diia City Union, Dnipro IT Community, Odesa IT Family, Gameloft, Genova Web Art, IT Ukraine Association, Lemberg Tech Business School, onPoint Studio, ProGamma Agency, Quantum, RaccoonGang, Sigma Software, SiteCore, Upgrade Parade.
Why does this matter for business?
This is part of a major study that will form the foundation of a competitive advantage matrix for Ukrainian IT companies. It will become a practical tool for business development and finding partners across the EU.
Members of the Kharkiv IT Cluster will receive a visual representation of their strengths and be able to better articulate their business proposals to international clients.
