Kharkiv IT Cluster at ruhrSummit 2020

On October 28, Olga Shapoval, director of Kharkiv IT Cluster, took part in ruhrSUMMIT 2020 along with 450 startups from 50 countries. ruhrSUMMIT 2020 is a B2B event from the German Startup Community associated with the Digital Start.up program! Germany Tour 2020. The event is aimed at connecting IT companies, organizations and start-up owners. For the first time, ruhrSUMMIT was held online, and Kharkiv IT Cluster took advantage of the unique opportunity to take part in the event. Olga spoke about Kharkiv as the first IT location in Eastern Europe, about the development and work opportunities for foreign companies and specialists. Olga shared the directions of work at Kharkiv IT Cluster, our projects, initiatives, goals, and how the Kharkiv IT industry can be interesting and useful to foreign countries. Representatives of AHK Ukraine — Chairman of the Management Board Alexander Markus and Head of Export Helpdesk Sergey Zhaburovsky — also participated in the event. Alexander and Sergey talked about the dynamically growing IT industry in our country, shared the achievements of startup projects and successful investment cases.
