The sixth Boot Camp season has come to an end: key results and takeaways

More than 90 participants, eight MVPs of digital products, and over 9,500 hours of teamwork — these are the results of the sixth season of Boot Camp by Kharkiv IT Cluster.

Boot Camp is a hands-on program by Kharkiv IT Cluster where future IT professionals work on real products together with mentors from IT companies.

Boot Camp replicates the workflow of a real product team. Participants research user needs, plan sprints, test their solutions, receive feedback from mentors, and present their finished products to experts.

Boot Camp 2026 results

This year, the teams were supported by experts from Intellias, Veramed, PioGroup Software, and QHR Partners. Mentors helped participants find solutions, set priorities, and build products the way real product teams do.

Boot Camp 2026 received more than 340 applications. Following the selection process, more than 100 participants joined the program, and over 90 made it to the final project presentations.

Over eight weeks, the teams dedicated more than 9,500 hours to product development. On average, each participant worked on their product for 124 hours — almost equivalent to a part-time role at a product-based IT company.

What projects did Boot Camp 2026 participants present?

The sixth season of Boot Camp was held under the theme Humanity in Tech. The idea is simple: good technology starts with understanding people’s needs.

That is why participants worked on solutions that could be useful for businesses, the public sector, and society. At the final presentations, participants showcased:

• an AI solution for contactless pulse measurement;
• a platform for detecting professional burnout in teams;
• services for working with open government data;
• a system for analyzing Ukrainian legislation;
• digital solutions for local government authorities;
• a web platform for a veterinary clinic;
• an online directory of local businesses.

For most participants, the journey did not end with the final presentations. 96% of graduates plan to continue developing their products. Another 97% of participants submitted their CVs to the Future Tech Talents Talent Pool by Kharkiv IT Cluster to connect with member companies of the community.

About Boot Camp

Boot Camp is an educational project by Kharkiv IT Cluster that helps students and young professionals gain their first hands-on experience before landing their first job in IT.

Across six seasons, more than 426 participants have taken part in Boot Camp, and at least 31 MVPs of digital products have been created.

Boot Camp mentors represent 17 IT companies that have contributed to the program across its six seasons: Akvelon, Alitro, APIBEST, Artjoker, CHI Software, Chainza, CodeIT, GlobalLogic, GoITeens, Intellias, Olearis, onPoint Studio, PioGroup Software, Quantum, QHR Partners, Veramed, and Viseven.

We are already working on the seventh season of Boot Camp, where ambitious teams, real-world market challenges, and support from the IT business will come together once again.
