SoftServe, a digital engineering and technology consulting company and a member of the Kharkiv IT Cluster, announced the winners of its annual Open Call 2026 initiative by pro bono program Open Tech. Company volunteers will develop digital products and solutions free of charge for seven selected organizations, including charitable foundations, social initiatives, NGOs, and cultural institutions.
This year’s Open Call received a record 116 applications from nonprofit organizations, charitable foundations, and social enterprises across Ukraine, Poland, Mexico, and Colombia. Applications were evaluated based on their scale and audience reach, alignment with pressing social challenges, potential community impact, and the availability of relevant expertise within the OpenTech volunteer network to deliver the proposed solutions.
“OpenTech is about the real impact of technology on communities. This year’s competition highlighted exceptionally strong initiatives that are helping strengthen our country and improve people’s lives — and where technological support can help scale their impact. For our volunteers, it is also an opportunity to work on challenges that contribute to Ukraine’s defense capabilities, international reputation, and scientific development.” — Taisiia Koropets, OpenTech Program Lead at SoftServe.

“This year’s response to the Open Call exceeded our expectations — both in the volume of applications and the critical challenges these organizations aim to address. In selecting the winners, we looked for initiatives where technological support could deliver the most immediate or long-term impact, spanning wartime aid for Ukraine, scientific advancement, cultural diplomacy, and inclusion. We look forward to embarking on these meaningful collaborations.” — Mariia Kucherenko, Director of Corporate Reputation & CSR at SoftServe.
