Startup Poland is looking for deep tech startups from Poland and Ukraine who are brave enough to face the test of fire!

Startup Poland has something special for startups this year. Deep Tech contest “Trial by Fire” is open for startups from Poland and Ukraine on every stage of growth. The competition will have two rounds - pitching and “Trial by Fire” questions. The call for submissions is until May 31, midnight. Finalists will go to Lisbon to Web Summit and to other international conferences. Startup Poland is thrilled to take a closer look at the deep tech sector - but not only through the research published later in the report, dedicated to this technological branch (report will be released in the second half of the year), but this time also in person – knowing better startups from Poland and Ukraine, that use deep tech in their solutions, which can change the world.

- We believe that startups using deep tech technologies are improving the world. Most impact businesses need very serious technological tools, which are very expensive and hard to reach. We would like to give them a chance to let the Polish deep tech scene – first, and the international floor shortly thereafter, get to know and appreciate them – says Paulina Król, Head of Projects in Startup Poland. - We understand that not every young innovative company can afford sending its team to the international startup conference, to broaden the network, find potential investors or clients. That is why we decided to support the winners of the contest by making their dreams about international startup festivals come true – she added.
