Project Launch. First Consortium Meeting
On November 18, the first meeting of the Eastern Ukraine EDIH project consortium took place. During the meeting, partners discussed the key areas of the hub’s activities and the strategy for implementing innovative technologies in businesses and communities.
Together, we will foster digital transformation for the resilience and recovery of Eastern Ukraine.
Key Areas and Objectives of Eastern Ukraine EDIH
Eastern Ukraine EDIH will serve as a center for support and development, where small and medium-sized enterprises, government institutions, and other organizations can access the latest technologies and knowledge. The hub offers a wide range of services, including 👇

• prototyping and demonstration services for new solutions.
Training and Upskilling
The project offers short-term and intensive training programs aimed at retraining and upskilling your workforce to address the digital skills gap in the region. Awareness-raising activities, including webinars and seminars, will familiarize companies with the potential benefits of digital technologies.

Networking and Access to the Innovation Ecosystem
The project will facilitate the expansion of business connections through:

• company missions to showcase their potential at the international level,
• building partnerships within the European digital community.
The project also supports the post-war recovery of the economy in Eastern Ukraine, helping manufacturing and agricultural enterprises modernize, and energy companies improve the resilience and efficiency of infrastructure.
The adoption of digital technologies will contribute to the integration of the region into the European economic space and provide new opportunities for economic growth.
Digital Transformation for the Development of Eastern Ukraine
One of the key priorities of Eastern Ukraine EDIH is to promote the widespread adoption of digital innovations. This approach has already proven effective in Europe as a solution to enhance productivity and competitiveness, and now it is available to Ukrainian companies through Eastern Ukraine EDIH.
The Importance of the Project for the Region and Business
Eastern Ukraine EDIH will not only contribute to business development but will also have significant importance for Eastern Ukraine as a whole. Through close collaboration with the European EDIH network, the hub will facilitate the exchange of best practices, attract investments, and create new job opportunities, which is an important step towards the economic recovery of the region.
