The Ukrainian-Portuguese event agency has won the gold of the prestigious BEA World award
Competing against 333 projects from 26 countries, Filosofia Event Group secured its place among the «chosen ones».
The «Week of Good Deeds» project, which won in the Team Building category, was created in partnership with the Ukrainian HR platform, robota.ua. Throughout the week, employees engaged in various forms of volunteering: they helped at the «Sirius» animal shelter, spent a whole day with children who were saved from occupied territories, donated blood, weaved nets for the frontlines, rebuilt houses, and, through a partnership with Rescue Now, generated ideas to address the social issue of job placement for single mothers in the de-occupied territories.
The project was presented in two categories at once:
- «Low budget», encompassing events with a budget of less than 50,000 euros, showcasing outstanding creativity in achieving client goals with minimal costs per person.
- «Team building» involving incentive trips and activities to foster team cohesion, stimulate motivation, strengthen loyalty to the company, and contribute to achieving business goals. These can target both internal and external audiences.
«Team building in our realities is crucial. Useful team-building, even more so. We are pleased to represent Ukraine on a global scale with this project. ‘Week of Good Deeds’ is about Ukrainians today, their ability to help and unite despite fatigue and constant stress», said Yevgen Shaposhnikov, co-founder of FILOSOFIA.
Every year, BEA World brings together the most influential professionals from the event industry worldwide. The event gathers organizers of ceremonies such as the Olympics, Oscars, and Grammys – the most grandiose and large-scale events globally. The main award, the Golden Elephant of the Best Event Award, is recognized as one of the most prestigious accolades in the industry.
