Sigma Software has developed an application for IT Arena based on its own product
Sigma Software has developed an application for the IT Arena conference, the largest technology event in Ukraine and Eastern Europe that brings together entrepreneurs, startup founders, product managers, business analysts, and anyone interested in technology. The app aims to make the experience of participating in the event even richer and more efficient and to keep all the features of the program in your pocket. The application is already available in the AppStore and Android Market for everyone who has a ticket to the event on September 27-29, 2024.
The organizers aimed to make the app as dynamic as the community and the event itself. “A world-class event today is unthinkable without technological support that makes the experience convenient and efficient. Our app will help you easily follow the program and current news, interact with other participants, and make the most of the conference’s networking opportunities. We are grateful to Sigma Software for their cooperation. It was important for us to develop the mobile application in Ukraine to emphasize the potential of our IT industry once again,” adds Lesia Mandzevych, Event Director of Lviv IT Cluster and IT Arena.
Valery Krasovsky, CEO and Co-founder of Sigma Software, said: “It is an honor for us to be involved in the development of Ukraine’s tech community and its representation on the international market. Thanks to the joint efforts of market participants, the Ukrainian IT service business is constantly evolving, attracting customers from top companies and already has a reputation as a digitalization engine around the world. It is also the fastest growing industry in our country.
IT Arena is a benchmark and an important voice of the industry, we are long-term partners and consider it our common mission to represent Ukraine to the world as a powerful IT hub. We have deep expertise in mobile development and are confident that the app will help all participants of the event to have a better immersion in the conference and take away new ideas and new opportunities.”
The application was developed on a turnkey basis on the basis of Sigma Software Agenda, a proprietary product created to manage the company’s internal events. According to Oleksandr Balyuk, Program Manager, it was important to develop the app quickly and efficiently, focusing on UX and flexibility in content. The main technology is React Native, which allows simultaneous development of applications for iOS and Android. All development, design, and testing took three months.
The app’s functionality includes:
- Conference program
- Ability to register for events with limited access
- Personal attendee account
- Networking tools (list of participants and chats)
- Information about partners
- Event map
- Feedback from the team.
The app supports two languages – English and Ukrainian. Registration and access to the content is provided upon purchase of a ticket to IT Arena.
