Prof2IT — A Project for Professional Development and Knowledge Updates for IT Educators

Prof2IT offers professional development courses and knowledge updates for IT educators from universities and colleges, delivered by leading experts from IT companies.

Project Goals

  • Enhance the quality of education by updating the knowledge of IT discipline instructors.
  • Align students’ knowledge with business requirements.
  • Strengthen the IT industry with skilled specialists whose expertise meets the demands of the IT sector.

How is the Project Implemented?

  • All sessions are conducted online, ensuring maximum engagement and safety.
  • Professional development courses last from 1 to 3 months (4–25 sessions of 1.5–2.5 hours each, plus a final assignment).
  • Lectures and practical sessions are led by experts from IT companies.
  • Upon course completion, instructors who successfully finish the program receive certificates validating their training and acquired knowledge.

  • Professionals, managers, and owners of IT companies.
  • IT educators from higher education institutions and colleges.
  • Representatives of the administration from specialized university and college departments.

Project Outcomes

  • 4 years of successful operation, with growing engagement from participants.
  • 430+ IT educators from universities and colleges completed courses and received certificates.
  • 70+ higher and vocational educational institutions across Ukraine.
  • 15+ participating companies.
