Internship Kharkiv IT Cluster

The year-long internship for students is an opportunity for professional growth, mentorship, and involvement in real projects in content creation, communications, events, and project management. The program is run by Kharkiv IT Cluster to support young talents and build a community of proactive students.

Project Goal

To create conditions for students to acquire practical skills, understand real teamwork, interact with partners, and contribute to the development of the IT ecosystem in Kharkiv and across Ukraine.

Target Audience

2nd to 4th year university students interested in communications, PR, SMM, event management, grant writing, international cooperation, project administration, business development, project management, and analytics. Basic skills required: working with texts and documents, Google Drive, photo and video editing tools, and proficiency in Ukrainian. Some directions require English proficiency at the B2 level or higher.

Internship Directions:

• Content and SMM: writing texts, designing stories and posts, launching creative campaigns.
• Events: assisting in the organization of online/offline events, communication with participants.
• PR and Partnerships: preparing presentations and emails, collaborating with companies.
• Grant Writing and International Cooperation: researching programs, preparing applications, conducting research.
• Administrative Work: managing spreadsheets, schedules, reports, and supporting the internal team.
• Project Management (PM): planning and coordinating tasks, setting deadlines, tracking progress, inter-team communication, preparing reports, working with task managers, process optimization, and ensuring efficient project delivery.

This is one of the most in-demand areas for internships and employment.

How the Project Works:

• Student selection via open call (application form, CV).
• Interview with the internship coordinator.
• Assignment to a direction based on skill set.
• Hybrid work format: mostly online with optional in-person meetings in Kharkiv.
• Duration: 1 year. Commitment: from 4 hours per day.
• Mentorship and gradual immersion into real projects aimed at addressing current social challenges.
• Guaranteed scholarship starting from the first month of the internship. Opportunity for increased scholarship based on performance reviews.
