Kids2IT: how Kharkiv IT Cluster immerses children in IT through play?

One of the most important projects of the Kharkiv IT Cluster is Kids2IT, in which children can feel part of the world of technology through interactive play. In February, 70 schoolchildren joined the games. How it was – we tell in the article.
🚀 Kids2IT in action!
During February, the Kharkiv IT Cluster team together with the foundation CodeIT4Life visited the safe spaces of Dergachyvska and Savynska communities. Talked to teenagers about the possibilities offered by IT, supported their bold ideas, and ignited faith in change. These events had not only a professional orientation goal, but also an important social meaning – teenagers experienced the real power of teamwork.
Games in the Kharkiv metro school is a large project of the Kharkiv IT Cluster, implemented together with Department of Education and Department of digital transformation Kharkiv City Council. These are events that not only help students in career guidance, but also remind them of the benefits of teamwork.
In February, they took place with the support of such industry leaders as Sigma Software and organizations Star for Life Ukraine. Students were able to try on the roles of IT specialists and work on startups together with professionals.
Under the guidance of experienced mentors, they developed their own startups, worked on real tasks and presented their projects.
