Kharkiv IT companies met with Ambassador of Estonia in Ukraine
IT ClusterMarch 5th at Kharkiv Premier Palace Hotel Kharkiv IT companies discussed the possibilities of economic cooperation between Estonia and Ukraine with Estonian diplomats.
March 5th Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to Ukraine Gert Antsu took part in a business seminar for directors of financial and legal departments organized by Kharkiv IT Cluster at the Kharkiv Premier Palace Hotel.
Estonian Enterprise Development Agency (EAS) and Magrat Management OU, a member of Kharkiv IT Cluster, has been partners of the event.
At the meeting, Estonia was discussed as a springboard to international markets for companies. According to the speakers, it is especially attractive for Ukrainians to enter the Scandinavian markets.
Jaan Heinsoo, regional director of the Estonian Enterprise Development Agency, accented that their organization provides entrepreneurs with support in the form of resources for business development in Estonia, grants for R & D centers, and free business expansion consulting. He added that these are excellent opportunities for Kharkiv IT companies to open a subsidiary in their country, then to use it to enter the rest of Western Europe and global markets.
Mr. Gert Antsu, in his turn, described Kharkiv as a city with “enormous scientific potential. Its universities are already interacting with Estonian universities, but this cooperation may develop further. Kharkiv is also known as an industrial city, which attracts Estonian business ”, so he expressed the hope that local technology companies would also be interested in Estonia.
The directors and owners of IT companies of Kharkiv IT Cluster also had the opportunity to personally communicate with diplomats at a closed meeting in the evening of the same day.
By organising and running such events Kharkiv IT Cluster helps to develop international cooperation and to establish interaction of Kharkiv IT companies with foreign partners, developing the Kharkiv City brand as an perspective IT location in the world market.
