Being the first 🏆 in the team competitions 3 modules in a row, Kharkiv IT Cluster continues making strides in the Export Alliance Mastery (EAM) Program, an initiative by Visionest Institute aimed at enhancing export capabilities for Ukrainian business support organizations (BSOs).

Module 4 provides us with hands-on insights into two critical aspects of international expansion: adapting to local markets 🌍 and strategic planning for export success 📊.

🔹 Adapting to Local Markets: Export Skills Development

This module focused on refining how BSOs tailor their services for international markets. A key case study examined Raccoon Gang, an Open edX-based LMS solutions provider targeting the U.S. education market. The study highlighted essential adaptation strategies, including:

Customizing services to market needs – aligning offerings with local business culture, educational needs, cultural specifics, and compliance requirements.
Competitive positioning – standing out against well-established players.
Navigating Legal & Regulatory Challenges – Understanding U.S. regulations like FERPA, ADA, and cybersecurity laws to ensure compliance and build trust.

These insights are aimed at making smarter market entry decisions and refining the global positioning strategies.

A major highlight of Module 4 was shaping a structured approach to enhancing export opportunities for Kharkiv IT Cluster members. The focus was on creating a framework that supports companies in navigating foreign markets with confidence and efficiency.
