Kharkiv IT Cluster and Webspark have digitized the platform of the New Ukrainian School
Kharkiv IT Cluster is a reliable partner of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Digital Transformation, with over 50% of IT community resources allocated to educational projects each year to attract and develop human capital for the IT industry.
In today’s realities, children’s education for Ukrainian kids is a true challenge. This is why integrating digital technologies into education is crucial to prepare children for the challenges of tomorrow and ensure they have a successful start in a tech-driven world.
This year, Kharkiv IT Cluster joined the development of the preschool education section on the digital platform of the New Ukrainian School. The brilliant technical implementation of the platform’s functionalities and elements was fully provided by WEBSPARK, led by Yevhen Katrych. WEBSPARK has experience in more than 700 projects, including web and mobile development of dual-service platforms, geo-services, and communication services. The WEBSPARK team also exemplifies socially responsible business, consistently supporting socially important initiatives and projects.
«Today, education cannot stand apart from technological progress. The integration of digital solutions into school education is an investment in the future of our country. Together with the IT business, we are creating a modern educational environment that makes learning more accessible, effective, and engaging», says Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine, Oksen Vasylovych.
The innovative «Preschool Educators» section, developed by WEBSPARK, provides teachers and parents access to modern educational resources and tools for developing preschool education. A key component is a progress tracking system, allowing users to monitor their achievements. IT specialists optimized the platform’s functionality, making it easy to integrate images into educational materials. A feedback form was also added to facilitate communication between users and the platform administration. You can register on the platform and access its resources via the link.
«We support social initiatives, especially when it concerns children, to whom we will pass the baton of rebuilding Ukraine in the future. It’s our responsibility to provide the young generation with opportunities to receive quality education and learn English so that Ukraine’s voice is heard globally», says Yevhen Katrych, CEO of WEBSPARK.
The platform’s updates are being implemented under the Future Perfect language program, aimed at promoting English as a language of international communication in Ukraine. The Future Perfect program was created at the initiative of the President of Ukraine, coordinated by the Ministry of Digital Transformation, and in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy. It aims to implement the principle of lifelong learning, making education accessible to all Ukrainians.
«Education has always been and will continue to be a point of collaboration for Kharkiv IT Cluster. Over 9 years, we have implemented more than 40 educational projects, united 600+ IT companies, and collaborated with 200+ educational partners. We are proud that, together with MES and MinDigit, we can enhance career guidance and digitalization for children and teachers, including through improving digital products. We thank our partners for their trust and WEBSPARK for their shared values and the opportunity to provide the younger generation with quality and engaging education», emphasized Olga Shapoval, Executive Director of Kharkiv IT Cluster.
The Kharkiv IT Cluster community brings together leading Ukrainian IT companies, educational institutions, and the government. It is an IT ecosystem that is transforming Ukraine’s technological landscape and shaping the future. The companies within the cluster consistently act as ambassadors of progressive changes in the development and preservation of human capital, supporting projects that lead to a new level of education. Thus, the joint project for digitalizing the New Ukrainian School is another conscious step towards accessible, efficient, and high-quality education for every child in Ukraine.
