IT4Life: Supporting Society in Times of Crisis
With the outbreak of full-scale war, Kharkiv IT Cluster focused the efforts of its IT4Life project on helping the Kharkiv region and its residents. The initiative aims to support the local community, medical institutions, educational facilities, and other socially significant areas.
As part of IT4Life, together with IT companies from our community, we implement numerous initiatives, including:
- Operating a Situation Center in Kharkiv — a coordination hub ensuring rapid response to threats, reducing emergency detection time from 3 minutes to just 15-25 seconds.
- Providing essential equipment — delivering laptops, generators, cameras, and other necessary technology to support Kharkiv’s infrastructure.
- Engaging donors worldwide — collaborating with international partners and philanthropists to fund regional humanitarian and technical needs.
- Transforming Kharkiv’s educational spaces — creating safe environments and equipping students and educators with the necessary tools and comfortable conditions.
Defence Community: Innovations for Security
One of Kharkiv IT Cluster’s new areas of work is the Defence Community initiative. This strategic platform unites defense and security solution providers, educational institutions, accelerators, and military and government representatives.
The initiative aims to create cutting-edge technological solutions for national security and support Ukrainian developers in the defense and security sector.
