An international step toward advancing Ukraine’s IT sector: Kharkiv IT Cluster signs a memorandum with TechHope Transitions Inc.
Kharkiv IT Cluster is launching a new era of cooperation by signing a memorandum with the American non-profit organization TechHope Transitions Inc.
The new international partnership with TechHope Transitions Inc. is an important step in creating professional and educational opportunities for Ukrainian students and veterans. The partnership aims to provide access to quality IT education and professional development both in Ukraine and abroad. Through these programs, we create the conditions under which talented young people can grow, acquire relevant skills, and build careers at various levels – from local to international.
“It is a great honor to cooperate with the powerful Kharkiv IT Cluster. Supporting talented students, including women and veterans, in the technology sector is a priority for us. This is a great opportunity to contribute to the long-term prosperity of our country, as the IT sector is a key part of the national economy,” said Anna Makarkina, Founder and CEO of TechHope Transitions.
This partnership involves various forms of cooperation, including organizing joint events, developing educational projects, and engaging Ukrainian IT companies to support educational initiatives. Both parties must be ready to provide information and methodological support to students to ensure real opportunities for their career growth and development.
Olga Shapoval, Executive Director of Kharkiv IT Cluster, expressed confidence in the partnership’s prospects: “For us, cooperation with partners who are far away geographically is a kind of superpower. We create new connections by combining innovative efforts, and we sincerely hope that this official step will become a productive cooperation that will not only remain on paper but bear real fruit.”
Representatives of both organizations also discussed the prospects of participating in grant programs from USAID and other international partners, which will allow them to attract additional resources to support educational projects. The next steps will include organizing exchange visits, participating in international IT summits, and presenting joint initiatives on global platforms.
The joint activities of TechHope Transitions Inc. and the Kharkiv IT Cluster will be an important component in promoting the Ukrainian IT sector in the international arena and creating a stable foundation for the development of a new generation of IT professionals!
