On April 4-5, the NewEdu: Tech in Focus International Educational Forum will be held in Kharkiv.

This year the forum received a technological focus.  Kharkiv IT Cluster, an organization uniting more than 50 IT companies in the region, as well as the founders of the event and education experts Yulia Pavichenko and Svetlana Feldman are organizers of the Forum.

The forum will be held traditionally in the Premier Palace Hotel Kharkiv (Independence Avenue, 2).

Over these 4 years, NewEdu has become the largest communications platform for international education experts, teachers, university professors, business and private courses representatives, as well as government agencies in Ukraine.

The participants come from all over the country to search for the new meanings of education together, to formulate the goals of the educational system, and eventually to form a road map for their achievement. The practical results of the forum will be sent to the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

The forum program includes the following panels:

➢ Relevance of knowledge. Innovative teaching methods;

➢ Accessibility of education. Inclusive education;

➢  Learning English: effective and interesting;

➢ Modern educational management;

➢ Vocational education of the new dimension (vocational schools, courses, universities);

➢ Adult education throughout life;

➢ Gamification as a motivation to learn;

➢ Cyber hygiene and information security.

Experts will share their experiences with their Ukrainian colleagues. Key international forum speakers:

  • Nikolai Smolensky, Poland, President of the CEASC Foundation, a specialist in European integration, consultant for working with European funds for education and business;
  • Ene-Silvia Sarv, Estonia, Expert in the field of education, developer of educational curricula, member of the European Association for Educational Research;
  • Yakubovskaya Tatyana, Finland, Researcher at the University of Tampere Future-oriented education and research;

Satiety of the market with highly qualified specialists is one of the main directions of Kharkiv IT Cluster in order to create a favourable environment for the development of the technology business in the region.
