On May 25th, we invite you to participate in the 4th regional Open Data Challenge presentation – national competition of IT projects and smart decisions based on open data, which will be held in Kharkiv.

 
Open Data Challenge has already been successfully launched in Kyiv, Lviv, Chernigiv and Kherson. Your city closes the series of the competition presentations.
We are launching Open Data Challenge in Kharkiv so that everyone from all over Ukraine could learn about the competition and take part in it.
Open Data Challenge is looking for innovative, socially oriented projects with fantastic business potential.
Apply for the Challenge and compete for an investment of 400, 500 or 600K UAH and an expert support from the best international open data specialists to fulfil your project. The total prize fund of the Challenge is 15000000 UAH.

Meet our speakers.
Kateryna Onyiliogwu – Open Data Team Lead, project “Transparency and accountability in public administration and services”. During the last 2.5 years, Kateryna has worked in Open Data Institute, London, where she launched and led several international projects under the Open Data for Development program – Open Data Leaders Network, Responsive City Challenge. Kateryna focused on the creation of open data initiative, supported and mentored startups from EU and Malaysia.
Denis Gursky – is a founder of a non-governmental organization SocialBoost and co-founder of 1991 Open Data Incubator, ideologist of open data reform. As a civic activist, Denis has worked on the open data reform through developing the portal data.gov.ua since 2013. After that, he continued his activity as an open data advisor to the Prime Minister of Ukraine. Thanks to his efforts, Ukraine has become International Open Data Index participant. Currently, Denis is working with startups on the open data basis in the spheres of agriculture, energy, and infrastructure as part of 1991 Incubator. Though the series of SocialBookst hackathons, 1991 Incubator, and other initiatives, he continues to develop the startups’ ecosystem in Ukraine.
