Bridge IT to business
There are more than 300 small and medium-sized companies in IT-sphere located in Kharkiv and there are approximately 22 000 of IT-specialists working in this sphere now. So that Kharkiv is the 2nd biggest IT-center of our country (the 1st one is Kyiv). There is an IT-cluster and education is well-developed as well: about 2000 IT-profile students are enrolled in the universities annually.
It obviously makes the city one of the most prospective tech-startup regions in Ukraine. But unfortunately, technical skills are not enough to run, keep and expand business efficiently. And this is the problem we are facing nowadays and are going to face in the nearest future – there is a gap between IT and business.
That is why we would like to invite you to join the open lecture “Bridge IT to business” that will be held by the Adjunct professor of Kyiv School of Economics Andriy Drobot.
Andriy has more than 13 years of project experience in investments, finance, strategy and organizational consulting. Main sectors of Andriy’s expertise and project experience are banking & financial services, IT, express logistics/ CEP, retail/ FMCG, metals, etc.
We’ll talk about:

3) Common sense valuation of IT projects
4) Why MBA for IT and IT tech professionals, applying business knowledge to projects
