Ukraine’s largest IT company, EPAM, consistently supports both defenders and medical personnel on the frontline. In September, the company allocated 615,000 UAH to the Odesa-based charity “Monsters Corporation” to purchase medical equipment.

The stabilization point, located on the Kharkiv front, has been equipped with operating tables, defibrillators, ventilators, sterilizers, monitors, infusion pumps, and other vital equipment.

“The importance of stabilization points cannot be overstated,” says Kateryna Nozhevnikova, founder and head of the “Monsters Corporation” Foundation. “In any hospital, the most critical area is the operating room. Stabilization points act as operating rooms for military personnel and civilians near conflict zones. When the evacuation route is too long, it may not be possible to transport the wounded to regular hospitals in time. That’s why 60-80% of lives are saved in such points.”

These points are staffed with surgeons, anesthesiologists, rheumatologists, and other specialists who treat injuries or perform emergency surgeries. Typically, these are urgent operations where every minute counts. For example, if a tourniquet is applied but conversion surgery is not performed within two hours, the limb may need to be amputated. Hence, having stabilization points close to the front line is essential. Mobile operating rooms save hundreds of lives every day.

“Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, our company has allocated 650 million UAH to support Ukraine,” says Serhiy Harashchuk, Senior Director at EPAM Ukraine. “This year, we launched the ‘Hardened Hundred’ project, through which we delivered over 100 pickup trucks to the Defense Forces. Additionally, EPAM funded and supplied 300 backpacks with tactical medical supplies to combat medics, in partnership with the ‘Leleka’ Foundation. We also provided financial aid to ‘Okhmatdyt’ hospital after the July shelling, donating 1.5 million UAH, alongside another 600,000 UAH from EPAM specialists.”

This summer, EPAM, together with the savED Foundation, equipped learning centers in shelters at six schools in Kryvyi Rih. These spaces allow teachers to provide students with extra lessons through specially developed mini-courses. In September, repairs began on a shelter in a lyceum of the Pechenihy Village Council in the Kharkiv region. Thanks to this, over 400 local children will be able to return to quality offline education.
