The year 2024 marked a new chapter in the development of the educational direction of the Kharkiv IT Cluster — six higher education institutions from Odesa, Dnipro, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Kropyvnytskyi, and Khmelnytskyi joined our community of academic partners. This partnership strengthens the interaction between educators and businesses, laying the foundation for training competitive IT specialists with modern knowledge and skills.
Educational Partnerships: How It Works
Kharkiv IT Cluster has become a bridge between educational institutions and businesses, helping universities integrate current IT trends into their curricula. For example, thanks to the partnership, students have access to:
- practical workshops and lectures by experts from companies participating in the Kharkiv IT Cluster;
- internships at leading IT companies in Ukraine;
- joint educational projects that allow students to consolidate theoretical knowledge in practice.

- the Ministry of Digital Transformation, which helps integrate innovations into digital education;
- the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and the Ministry for Veterans Affairs of Ukraine — partners in implementing educational projects to support veterans;
- the Ministry of Education and Science and the National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, with which initiatives for modernizing curricula are being implemented;
- the Scientific Association of Cybersecurity of Ukraine, which works on improving protection in education and technology;
- the National Qualifications Agency, which helps adapt educational standards to labour market needs;
- Kharkiv Regional Small Academy of Sciences and the Charitable Organization «Star for Life Ukraine Foundation» — together creating opportunities and engaging talented youth in IT fields;
