Coding the Future: The first step toward transforming digital education in the Kharkiv region has been made
On April 10, the first laptop handover took place at Honey Academy as part of the Code the Future project — an Oleksandr Medovoi, AltexSoft, and Kharkiv IT Cluster initiative. This day marked the starting point for building a network of safe digital educational spaces for students across the Kharkiv region.
As part of the project’s first phase, 40 laptops were delivered to help launch a new computer lab. Students not only received access to modern equipment but also participated in Kids2IT — a career-guidance game that introduces young people to IT professions and helps them see their place in today’s digital world. In total, another 1300 laptops are being sent to educational institutions in the Kharkiv region as part of the initiative.
Equal educational opportunities for all
Coding the Future aims to support the younger generation in a region facing the daily challenges of war. That’s why we strive to ensure access to quality IT education — even in the most difficult conditions.
Our community believes that accessible and high-quality education is an investment in a stable and strong future. This is why Kharkiv IT Cluster brings together businesses and educational institutions with a common goal — to create conditions where every child can realize their potential.
The first step has already been taken, setting the pace for further essential changes in the Kharkiv region.
