Building an Environment for Youth Startups: Kharkiv IT Cluster at the InTechGrowth Kick-off Meeting in Kraków

One of the key challenges young entrepreneurs face is the lack of practical knowledge, mentorship, and access to opportunities for growth. Many promising ideas remain unrealized due to a lack of business experience. That’s why Kharkiv IT Cluster has joined InTechGrowth — to help aspiring startup founders gain the necessary expertise to successfully launch and scale their projects.
Recently, our team participated in the initiative’s kick-off meeting in Kraków, joining forces with partners from various countries.
What is InTechGrowth?
InTechGrowth is an international project organized by the Polish NGO in the field of education, HEKET Foundation, bringing together participants from seven countries: Poland, Ukraine, The Portuguese Association of Startups (APSU) from Portugal, Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, Ministry of Youth and Sports Turkey, and Adana Tourism Development and Infrastructure Service Union from Turkey, Young Leaders Education-Training and Development Public Union from Azerbaijan, Institute for Development and Social Initiatives Viitorul from Moldova, and Association of Business Consulting Organizations of Georgia from Georgia.
Its goal is to provide young people with the knowledge, tools, and support they need to create and implement their technology startups.
Kharkiv IT Cluster became a partner of the program and actively participates in its implementation! We are forming close cooperation with NGOs, ministries and universities of other countries to help young entrepreneurs overcome the challenges associated with starting and developing a business.
Goals of InTechGrowth
🔹 Support organizations working with youth and develop competencies for youth workers.
🔹 Enhance entrepreneurial skills among young people (entrepreneurs and young business owners among the program’s partner participants).
🔹 Create support communities for youth organizations, labor market institutions, and educational entities.
At this stage of the project, we are actively working on creating a focus group and analyzing the needs of future entrepreneurs. This will allow us to adapt support programs to the real challenges young people face in different countries.
