The first intensive course on programming from Kharkiv IT Cluster is over

November 22  the last session in the first year of programming project Kids2IT took place. On the festive lesson children have received official certificates, the charge of motivation by IT-directors of Kharkiv IT Cluster – Eduard Rubin, Telesens, and Roman Katerinchik, Artjoker, and regaled cake.

The course consisted of five lectures offline and online homework – it’s 75 programming tasks. As a result of solving examples there was score of students and teachers. So, a small statistic: 140 students enrolled on course. Of these, 109 made at least one task within the course. 20 students scored the highest score. Nikolai Arzubov – initiator of the project, the creator of the program and the instructor of the course – organized the final challenge among  the best student Kids2IT.

The first year is successful and therefore we will have a new set. We plan upgrade the program in spring 2016, and to give all teachers of computer science of the Kharkiv region free access to it for the children’s classes.

The next phase of the project – trips to IT-companies. Who wants to invite students to his office and show all the advantages of working in IT? We are open to suggestions!
