On August, the 31st in Fabrika.Space Artjoker team organized the second meetup of a Big Brain Club. This time Kharkiv programmers focused on Backend topic.

2 speakers, 70 attendees, warm ambiance, and productive coffee-breaks – that was exactly how looked the Backend Evening which was to form solid IT-community in Kharkiv.

 

What did Backend Evening speakers talk about?

 

Yevgeniy Nakoneshny told about advantages of studying Laravel framework.  The speaker set up examples from already ongoing project to let every CBB guest decide was Laravel worth studying.

The next speaker Nikolay Lototskiy told about asynchrony in Node.JS. Attendees were really surprised when discovered Nikolay using asynchrony without libraries. The speaker demonstrated many disadvantages of such approach to get everyone interested in Node.JS.

Traditionally event organizers raffle off prizes for attendees. Winners got IT-Alias game to level up their skills in programming and have a great time with their friends or colleagues.
