We invite you to GlobalLogic Kharkiv MS TechTalk #2, which will be the second event is a series of meetups on Microsoft technologies held by GlobalLogic.
Participation in this event will bring new growth opportunities to .NET developers, Cloud engineers and all the interested specialists. You will deepen your understanding of the most recent trends in Microsoft technologies, as well as get the assistance in practical use of the new Microsoft Azure products.
Where: Fabrika.Space (Kharkiv, 1 Blagovishchenska St.).

Speakers and talks:
1) “.NET Core Apps: Design & Development” — Andriy Antilikatorov.
This talk will cover the principles and the best practices in creation of flexible Microsoft .NET Core-based applications in connection with Microsoft Azure services, as well as tools and libraries that greatly simplify the development, configuration and deployment of applications. Also, attention will be paid to some pitfalls that may be encountered while using .NET Core.
2) “Migration of Cloud Services to Microsoft Azure Service Fabric” — Stanislav Zbitnev.
Microsoft Azure Service Fabric is a next-generation cloud application platform used for building scalable and highly reliable distributed applications. This report will provide a basic understanding of the process of transferring applications from cloud services to Service Fabric. The talk will reveal the architectural and structural differences between cloud services and Service Fabric.
3) “Build, Deploy and Manage Your Releases Like a Boss” — Anton Boyko
Unfortunately, there are still a lot of projects where engineers deploy their apps using “Right click -> Deploy -> Production” approach. This is sad, but true. At some point we can face this just because hardly anyone knows how to configure a build server and how to automate deployment process. Within his presentation, Anton will talk about the general approaches to automating build, deployments and managing releases. Anton will also wrap all of this in release management pipeline and show how to make the entire release process transparent for all team members.
