Cheer up your marketing: Remarketing Festival Took Place in Kharkiv

On October 19, 2016 the IX International Festival of Advertising and Marketing Remarketing Autumn took place in Kharkiv Palace Premier Hotel. Over 20 speakers – experts in various fields of marketing, advertising and PR, including participating companies of Kharkiv IT Cluster – made their reports at the event.

This time the event was held under the motto “Cheer your marketing up!”. According to the organizers, the main purpose of Remarketing Autumn was to inspire and stir tired marketers.

This year the headliners were Igor Gut, Managing Partner of the Swedish project DYB | Develop Your Business, Serhii Didkovskyi, PR-strategist, founder of consulting company “Restoranskie”, Kyrylo Chystiakov, Creative Director of GRAPE Ukraine and Viktoriia Ruban, PR-director of Vodafone Ukraine.

Igor Guth spoke about brand sexuality and magnetism, how to keep balance and where to look for marketing in addition to marketing manuals. Quote: “Business is a game where we exchange risks for income. The risks are, however, guaranteed while the income is not”.

Serhii Didkovskyi delivered a report about PR of the first persons and the ways of protecting business from ghouls. He explained why it is important to make a name first and moderate one’s representation in the media.

Kyrylo Chystiakov opened the mystery of his hating Digital. He also explained why the golden age of advertising is over, why the love of transformer and godzilla is cool, and how it is associated with advertising not without interesting cases. Quote: “The future never fails to amaze you”.

Viktoriia Ruban made a journey into the history of Vodafone and its predecessor, MTS. She mentioned the fundamentally new things introduced with brand change and the key factors of Company success.

After lunch, the participants chose the streams of their concern.

This year the speakers at Remarketing were representatives of the three participating companies of Kharkiv IT Cluster.

Roman Katerynchyk,  CEO Artjoker, – a regular guest at the festival. This time, he made a new report: “Case About a Million” and told the audience how his team launched online crediting platform in Ukraine from scratch.

Max Samko, CEO ART Lemonand Oleksii Nikandrov, art director of ART Lemon, spoke about 13 tricks used by large online stores to make buyers from visitors. Their report smoothly transformed into a workshop – the guys analyzed sites of some festival participants and advised the things that could be improved.
